Then the usual rep consists of lifting the bar only about 6-8 inches.  Wow, you bench a crazy amount of weight, and only move the bar 6&quot;, impressive! What you said makes a lot of sense, especially about how to calculate or closely estimate where to place your hands to maximize pec overload and prevent injury.
